Notion

Where this PMO's structured project record actually lives.

Every project gets a home in Notion: a project node page, a Steps database, and a Project Workbook database. The skills on this site write to those three surfaces directly — never to a random doc, and never by rebuilding a project's structure from scratch each time.

The project node page

Project Overview creates it as a child subpage the first time a PM meets with a sponsor, and Project Registry records exactly where the other three repositories — Steps database, Project Workbook, Slack channel — live, in a "Data Repositories" section on that same page, so nobody has to ask "where does this live" twice.

The Steps database

See Deliverables First for why steps are deliverables, not tasks.

The Project Workbook

Decisions, risks, dependencies, action items, and the odd stray document link all land here as tagged rows — most of it arriving through Slack/Notion Sync and Link Harvest, never by a PM copying things over by hand.
